In an article titled “Effect of Nigell sativa on subjective feeling in patients with allergic diseases” published by the US government database PubMed, the authors described the effect of using black oil in relation to certain conditions. The articled reviews that black seed has been used for thousand of years as natural remedies for a wide range of diseases and allergies. It has been successfully used to alleviate certain conditions in Arabian, Asian and African countries.
The article discusses four studies which investigated the clinical efficacy of black seed in allergic conditions. The study involved 152 patients who suffered from conditions like eczema, bronchial asthma and allergic rhinitis. The patients were given black seed in the form of capsule. Each patient was given a dose of 40 to 80 mg per day. The article explains that all the four studies concluded that the course of subjective feeling decreased during the treatment with Nigella sativa. The article concludes that black seed oil is effective for the treatment of allergic diseases. The studies mentioned in the article were conducted at Humboldt University, Berlin, School of Medicine, Institute for Transfusion Medicine, Charité University Hospital, Berlin, Germany.
Dr Med Peter, a German scientists and member of the World Academy of Scientists examined black seed for the treatment of chronic illnesses and found that it could effectively inhibit inflammation.
